Sy Phelan is an award-winning multidisciplinary artist based in Northern New Jersey, working across photography, painting, and mixed media. With over two decades of experience, she creates emotionally resonant work that explores memory, identity, connection, and the beauty found in overlooked moments.

Phelan holds a BFA from Marywood University and began her career as both an exhibiting fine artist and a longtime art educator. She has shown work in solo and group exhibitions throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and has been published in magazines across the U.S. and the U.K., including Leeds.

Her work has received multiple honors in juried international art competitions and has gained recognition for its raw emotional tone, technical precision, and conceptual depth.

Prints, originals (when available), and commissioned pieces are all offered through her studio. Phelan welcomes inquiries for new work and collaborations.
